• Only child.  (I was not spoiled.  Just overly disciplined as a kid)
• My last name literally means “Woods” or “Forest” in Chinese.  (No relation to some famous golfer or Mr. Gump of Alabama)
• I wear a beret.  It’s because I have to from time to time.
• As you can probably tell, I have an artistic side to me.
• I'm solar powered (I like warm weather).

FAQs

What’s Bastalaranza mean anyway?  Is it Spanish?  Italian?
Bastalaranza doesn’t mean a thing, really.  I completely made up this word to be used as an exclamation (often as an expletive).  Uniqueness was my aim.

What’s with the funky logo?
Well, the logo is based on a motif that I designed in school but made to look like a “G”.  The motif, as a whole, consisted mostly of concentric circles and arcs with varying values of grey/black with a hue of blue.  The circles, much to the quizzical look of the teacher and students came from tracing the seat of the stool that I was sitting on, rolls of paper towels, the class fire extinguisher, some Dannon yogurt cups, and my dad’s navigator compass set.

Are you really mad?  Crazy?
Actually, no.  I’m actually a fairly tame person.  It’s just that every now and then, spontaneously, I’m described as having a “theatrical” fix.  Don’t worry, I don’t usually flip out.
