The Break
Spring finals are over and I just started my first day of summer school. This weekend is hardly much of a break, but I'll take whatever comes my way, I suppose. Been working with a local graphic designer on doing some freelance work. It keeps me up at times but it's a far cry better than what I was doing before. Here, I get to try different ideas without being held down by corporate template guidelines.
Friday, I did a lot of cleaning around the house and hung out with Steve later in the day. Saturday, I celebrated my cousin's and neice's (Alan and Christina) birthday. I ordered a Logitech MX700 for Alan but it didn't get here on time. Rats.
Sunday, I did some more cleaning and went with Alvin to Manuel's little housewarming party. Right after, I met with Dardy for some coffee in Mt. View. That was cool with the exception of these two "faux-gay" guys talking hella loudly in front of us, hoping to annoy us into trying to take our seats. I didn't really feel myself talking to Dardy with these jackasses around. I was hoping to make a break when one of them started smoking. Excuse me, could you smoke over there? But then Dardy started smoking. darn. They were there a little longer. Bad way to end a small break. Maybe I should break those fools instead. Then I'd feel better.
