Updates from the Fool Himself
Boy, there's been a whirlwind of stuff that's happened recently. I wanted to write sooner, but a lot of small things got in the way. I'll just say whatever piece I've got...

School has been keeping me busy. Lots of tests and projects to do. My photography is getting better, it seems. Its funny because I used to shy away from doing human subjects. Now, I see the value in doing so.

A few weekends ago, Amy invited me and a few friends to Mammoth Lakes for some snowboarding. So, Cheng, Nelson, Alvin, Jen and I drove rode in Nelson's huge van and drove there. The drive took longer than I realized. Despite how it looks on the map, cutting though the Sierras is time consuming. Anyhow, we met Amy's friends, Keiske, Lisa, Kevin, and Jon and went boarding and hung out to play some games at the end of the day. It was fun.

Been looking at major career options. I'll talk more on that later.

Dong, a good friend of mine, just left active-duty after coming back from Iraq. He'll be going into the reserves (my unit) and will be looking to go into law enforcement as a civilian career. 2 weeks ago, we cooked dinner for him at Alvin's place. I was a little worried that he might have turned out to be some stiff after all these years. As it turns out, he still his normal, laid-back self. We'll be seeing him more now that he's back!

It's fun when my neices, Annacy and Michaela come to visit. They sure grow up fast though. =)

I took the APFT again yesterday. I did good, not super. I realized that while I ran comfortably, I didn't have too much power. so, my goal is to do things to get some leg power (stairmaster, skip rope, etc.). We'll see how much this helps later on.

You'll hear more from me later. For now, I gotta jet...
