Everything Under the Sun
Yes, that's what I'm going to talk about. Everything. Plus, things are "sunny"to me with a rather recent development. There has been much going on overall. Sorry about lagging on the blog front. It seems to me that I don't have much time to blog. Of course, now that spring break is here, I have a little time to write.
Of recent, I'm seeing someone new. There's a bit of strangehood here about "seeing." In that I haven't even "seen" her yet. Yes, nevermind the fact that I've known her for 8 years. It's been only now that I started seeing her under a different context. I enjoy talking to her, yes I do. Time just seems to disappear when I do. I also really like some of her idiosyncracies. =) I'm going to actually "see" her this Thursday. Yes indeed, I'm grinning ear to ear.
I've finally finished a web project that's been on for over a year (off and on). Although it's nice to get paid, it doesn't feel good that this project dragged on as long as it did. Oh well, at least I got it done.
Earlier, this month, I put on a multimedia presentation for a military dinner. The former SECDEF was there too. It was stressful in that I've been wroking on it for a month prior. Now I know what it feels like to be a movie director. I felt like I had SO much riding on it. It went over well. I'm also glad that people liked it in that I did this primarily for them. After it was all done, I felt like a had a ton of brick removed from my shoulders!
Even though Spring Break is here, I still got a lot of projects that I need to do. That means that I'll be busy doing stuff over the break. *sob* On a similar note, I want school to be be done NOW!!! I have no idea how much more of this I can really stand. I want to start doing my own thing. hmmmppph...
Lots of friends have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. This is a major relief for me. Although everyone is intact, I can't say that everyone is well. The implications are huge. I'll talk more about this in a another entry.
Had an Army buddy, Steve, visit me from Seattle not too long ago, we hung out in SF. It's funny how much time can pass in the blink of an eye.
Speaking of SF, I went with Mike to San Francisco to take some photos. I guess I'll talk about this one in a later entry too.
Had a really nice Easter celebration in church yesterday. BBQs are always nice!
I try to enjoy the simple things in life. In them, are priceless things. Life is one of them.
