Running Short on Patience
A lot of small things are severely wearing on my patience. Why have I not been paid since I got here? Where is my travel reimbursement? How come the transfer paperwork I submitted since March hasn't been processed? How on earth did I rack up so much overage on my cell phone? Why can't my MP3 player load certain songs?

The top three, however, are the ones that really piss me off. I'm putting in 110% of my effort and I haven't been paid. I guess I'm lucky that I'm not married and have a family. For the time being, I think my patience for Uncle Sam is wearing thin. I'm willing to hold somebody hostage over this. I want what's due unto me...

Time to Breathe
Finally, I got some time to breathe. While I'm waiting for the dry cycle to finish, I have a few moments to write.

The schedule is busy, it's academically hard, but I'm keeping up rather well. School, errands, community service, and just keeping my comrades in good spirits is a full-time job (and change). As busy as I am, I'm actually having a good time here.

But as always, something is missing here. I miss hearing the voice of my chica. Sure, I call her every morning and night, but nothing beats hearing it in person. It's irreplaceable. Priceless, rather. Of course, it will be different next weekend. =)

In the Company of Cactii
Although I'd like to write more about this momentous experience, I seem to be strapped for time. I'm here in Arizona. Although it's hot, we're having a great deal of rainstorms out here in the desert. I swear I'll be writing about it more in the next post.

For now, I'm kinda getting used to this place.

On another note, I'm really missing my baby. *sigh*
