Must Write More...
I need to write more. I totally forget to sometimes. Good thing Dardy reminded me yesterday... Ok what to say...

Just enjoyed a really relaxing weekend with the woman. She really needed to study for her CPA stuff so we studied quite a bit. Good ol' Tapioca Express to the rescue. Speaking of which, we are working through some of the smaller things in wedding planning such as invites and the wedding website.

On another front, I might leave this place. Something tells me I was terribly misled to come here. It's either that or there's a truth that I'm not privy to know. Whatever the case, I think the conditions are telling me to move to a greener pasture.

Toodles...

Health Conscious @ Work
Although I don't really know why, it seems like I've been much more healthy working at my current workplace. Lately, I've been either hitting the gym or running 2+ miles. Also, Seems like I've been drinking a lot of juice, water, green tea and even vegetable juice.

This is a sharp contrast to me in Cupertino, drinking like 4-5 cans soda a day. Although, I'd exercise, it was still bad.

Hope I stay like this...

The Wonders of Anime
During the long weekend, I spent some quality time with the woman down in SoCal. It was a nice weekend.

Part of that weekend I watched an anime series called Angelic Layer. This is a series that my hunny often raved about. I had no idea what it would be about. I mean judging from the title, I seriously thought it was about a cake shop! I mean come on...doesn't images of Angel food cake and layered cakes come to mind??

Anyhow, I was in for a surprise. After watching the entire DVD set, I have to admit...I was rather impressed. Although the series may seem to be for little kids, I was moved by how deep and complex the story was. I definitely recommend it. I found myself smiling quite a bit after watching it.

I really wonder why shows here don't have that kind of depth or dynamic to it. The only thing that I remember having a rich storyline is maybe Robotech (which was basically anime anyways). Perhaps it's more about the American deathgrip of commercialism?

And to think anime was all about robots and laser beams...
